To welcome the fall season, we are having a contest. Share a story of your own memories and experiences of autumn, especially those evoked by a special scent. The sense of smell is among the most powerful for recalling memories. What does fall smell like to you?
I have fond childhood recollections of Halloween, laced with the aroma of pumpkin seeds toasting in the oven and homemade caramel apples. All of which I am joyfully reliving with my two toddlers -- my favorite candle making helpers!
